Throughout the year our 18 Veteran Clubs have an individual Veteran Open Day where they invite other NRVGA Veterans to their Course. A Stableford Medley Golf Competition is provided for a maximum cost of $35.00. If LUNCH is provided, this will be stated on the Nomination Form
NRVGA provides two $25.00 vouchers for prizes to two non-local, non-winning Veterans.
At each Veteran Open Day, 3 points are awarded to each Veteran for participating, and, 15 points down to 1 point are allocated to the first fifteen place-getters in each of the fields on the day.
At the end of the year’s program, the Veteran who accumulates the most points, is awarded the NSWVGA Medal. The Runner-Up is awarded the NRVGA Medal. These awards are presented at the Championships Presentation.
NOTE: 4BBB Teams entering the Championship Event MUST be members of the SAME Veteran Club.
NOTE: There is a Minimum Playing Criteria for Championships this year (2023). Veterans need to have played in THREE Veteran Open Days since the beginning of the year to be eligible to play.
The “THREE Veteran Open Days Eligibility” for the MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIP in June 2023 is calculated from 1 July 2022 to 1 June 2023. An Age Eligibility also applies. Participants MUST be 70 years or older as at 1 June 2023
Contact Secretary Ray Kent for eligibility. Ray has kept records of all Participants in each Open Day PLAYED (last year 2022 days played and will also have 2023 days played)
